Working passionately as a versatile pianist, music director, and music educator with extensive experience in the New England theatre community.
About Breanne..
Bree has served as music director for more than a dozen productions including Ordinary Days (RGC Theatre, April 2024) and Big Fish (RGC Theatre, July 2023), and Legally Blonde (Prescott Park Arts Festival, Summer 2024) bringing a keen musical sensibility and collaborative approach to every project.
Not just a talented director and teacher, Breanne’s skills at the piano allow her to work in a pit orchestra, filling out the sound in small pits to seem bigger than their numbers would indicate, and bringing the technical ability to tackle even the most demanding piano books. A phenomenal sight reader, Breanne also has a knack for jumping into productions late in the process to help bring them to fruition. She is confident and able to jump in and hit the ground running with any production, bringing her steadying hands and calming demeanor to a stressful situation.
In addition to her work in theatre, Breanne teaches private piano lessons at Musical Arts Exeter and from her home near Manchester, where she focuses on building passion for the instrument with students of all ages, skill levels, and stylistic preferences. A strong technical foundation, a keen eye for details, and music theory can all be taught through just about any style of music, so the style that encourages the passions of the student is what should be focused on.
As a proud trans woman, she is dedicated to fostering inclusive and affirming spaces in the arts, celebrating creativity and authenticity in all its forms.
